Missionary Alliance Church
dinner Whoop-ti-doos, a local restaurant owned by Aaron and Joy Fopma, is having its 4th Annual FREE Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day 2011 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

"We want the love of Jesus to reach all people whether living in plenty or living in want. This meal is open to EVERYONE! Bring your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors.. anyone who eats!!" - Aaron and Joy Fopma

The Fopmas are offering this dinner free of charge as an outreach to the public - and we can all get involved! They are planning for several hundred and will need a lot of food and help! In 2010 we served over 500 meals!

  • Donate Food - This meal is a community effort, each year hundreds of individuals come together to pull off the meal on Thanksgiving Day. Last year over 500 meals were served!

  • Donate Time - We have many volunteer positions that will allow you to bless others in Jesus name while you yourself will be blessed!

  • Donate Money - All monetary gifts are used for the direct efforts of advertising and the actual meal itself. Any donations above and beyond our need will go to families in need and future giving projects.
Come and dine with us! This is for the community whether you live in plenty or live in want! It is so awesome to see how many come together and help and eat together. It reminds me of what the first curch described in Acts might have been like, they all came together, shared a meal and gave as they saw the needs of others outside of their fellowship and inside!

Invite! Invite! Invite! Need I say more!!!

Pray. Pray! Pray! God knows exactly the amount of food, volunteers and people in need- pray that it will all come together as he wants, in his time and above all else he will be glorified and receive the glory for all the blessings that flow out of servant hearts!

Check out the sign-up table in the foyer after the morning worship service for the next few Sundays. You can sign up to donate or make food. If you're able to get involved on a more personal level, you can volunteer to be a greeter, server, read a devotional, or share special music, or help clean up after the dinner.

Let's be Christ's Hands and Feet to the Community this Thanksgiving
