The Deaf Ministry was started in 1975 as a result of a two-week evangelical campaign presented by Ted Camp from the Bill Rice Ranch in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Through the years, many deaf have come to know the Lord and have been able to attend MAC and listen to services in their own language.

Virtually all services and programs here at MAC are available to be interpreted for our deaf friends.

Many people have served as interpreters through the years. For the past few years, the interpreters have been John Andrews, Jan Watne (Musical Interpreter Extraordinar), Merle Van Gerpen (Specializing in Sermons), and Norma Pommrehn (Sunday School and Women's Ministries - not pictured).
