People often wonder about that busy
Missionary Alliance church in Blairsburg. Some are surprised
to discover that Blairsburg MAC is part of a larger Christian, evangelical and Protestant denomination known
as the
Christian & Missionary Alliance.
- We are Christian because we believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
- We are Missionary because we are committed to reaching people worldwide with the Gospel
- We are an Alliance of believers working together to grow in our knowledge of Jesus Christ.
The Blairsburg Missionary Alliance Church was originally started in 1951 when a group of believers in the area felt
the Lord leading them to establish a church. Now, more than 50 years later, two building projects, and
a multitude of growth explosions -- Blairsburg MAC continues to worship, teach, and minister through Sunday services,
programs for children, adult bible studies, and special events throughout the year. Read more to learn more about
our humble beginnings:
History of MAC.
While there are only 22 CMA churches in Iowa, the Christian & Missionary Alliance is made up of over 2,000
churches spread throughout the United States and has a global membership of over 2 million. To learn more
